Discover the Botanical Artist Within You!

I recently attended a Botanical Art workshop in Watercolour with Heather. It was the fourth watercolour session I have attended. I started out with sessions in graphite. If you are interested in learning to become a botanical artist, whether in graphite, or watercolour, then these classes are excellent! Heather is a very talented artist and is an inspiration to all in her classes. She is well organized and structured in her teachings. She is always helpful when you need it throughout the classes. I highly recommend trying her sessions. I believe you will be hooked on botanical art!

I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to study colour matching and painting a leaf in watercolour with Heather. She has the depth of knowledge, skill, and experience in botanical art to demonstrate the various processes that go into accurately and artistically painting a leaf. She is a patient educator with a gentle approach for giving each student constructive feedback to help move their painting forward. She came prepared everyday with a plan to teach her sequence of steps for painting a leaf, including all her best practices to ease the process. To have a botanical artist of this calibre, who is also an amazing teacher, giving in-person instruction is a rare opportunity. I would recommend taking a course with Heather Gross. I hope to be back again!
